COLUMBIA, S.C. — Governor Henry McMaster is calling for a state investigation into concerns about voter registration forms allegedly being given to non-citizens in South Carolina.

As the state’s Medicaid agency, the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) is required by Section 7 of the National Voter Registration Act Of 1993 to offer voter registration information.
