TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – United Cerebral Palsy of West Alabama started a new program this week giving participants a way to give back to the community that’s been supporting it for years.
UCP of West Alabama, which helps people with special needs, kicked off its Tidy Up Tuscaloosa this week when participants cleaned up the Park at Manderson Landing across from the University of Alabama campus.
Tidy Up Tuscaloosa, the result of a partnership between UCP and UA’s marketing department, is a beautification program to keep Tuscaloosa clean.
Once a month, people in UCP of West Alabama will go to a location in the Tuscaloosa area, pick up trash, and help “tidy up” that area
