SiouxFalls.Business Report: Sanford Sports Complex enters next phase, restaurants opening [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Jodi Schwan with SiouxFalls.Business visited to discuss the Sanford Sports Complex’s next phase of growth and the newest in the restaurant scene.

The Sanford Sports Complex is entering its next phase of growth. The Atlas, a new apartment development from Lloyd Companies has started construction behind Fleet Farm.

When it’s all done, we expect anywhere from 400 to 600 apartments of varying floor plans at the Sports Complex, supporting the increasing places to work there — including Sanford’s Virtual Care Center and Dakota State’s applied research building.

That’s not all that’s underway at the sports complex. A new Comfort Inn & Suites has opened, and the manager tells us they are staying busy thanks to the steady stream of tournaments and other special events nearby.
