Maine veteran receives keys to brand new townhome | Local News [Video]

BANGOR — This past Veterans Day a military family was surprised to learn they were the winners of a life changing gift. On Wednesday they were given the keys to a brand new home. 

“What better way to set the tone for the Maine Woods Development than to have a veteran and his family be the first occupants,” said Maine Woods developer Emily Ellis. 

It was an exciting day for Marine Corps Veteran Daniel Farrow and his family as they were handed the keys to their new home in the recently constructed Maine Woods Townhomes development in Bangor. 

“It’s the culmination of a lot of hard work by a lot of people but it shows how great it can be when the community all comes together,” said Ellis.
