This is one of the key lessons I learned during @CloudFest 2024, shared by @verisign to provide insights into the transitioning trend of how we should approach domain names in a different context.

Ultimately, since we know the future is going to be online and digital, starting with a domain name for any business has become a requirement.

This ensures you are not too late, and your customers and loyal fans are already familiar with your website, domain, and hence your branding is stronger.

I always remind people not to put all their eggs in the same basket. Avoid heavily investing in social media and forgetting about the website presence for your target audience.

In short, if you already have a business, please register a domain name first, create a website, and use your professional email from your domain name.

This is the way forward, and you should follow it henceforth.
