Keifers restaurant open in the city of Madison [Video]

MADISON, Miss. (WLBT) – Wednesday, the owners and general manager held a soft opening with the mayor and other city officials.

A lot of patience and excitement surrounded Tuesday’s soft opening as many people have waited months to get inside and try some of those tasty dishes.

Now, with the adequate staff, owners say they are ready to open up for business.

As the countdown began, the ribbon was cut as city leaders and owners of Keifer’s restaurant officially opened the doors.

“We’re happy to be here. With all the growth that’s going on in Madison, I think it’s good for the Madison people, and I think it’s good for Keifer’s,” said general manager Chip Holden.

For months, fans of the restaurant have waited for it to open.
