Democrat Rep. Becca Balint is currently serving her first term in the U.S. House of Representatives, and as of Wednesday she officially announced that she is seeking another two-year term.“It’s been the honor of my life to be able to represent Vermont in Congress,” Balint said in a sit-down interview with NBC5. “And I’ve been very focused on issues that are important to Vermonters and Vermont communities. The housing crisis, the mental health crisis, making sure Vermont is prepared for the climate crisis.
