RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – A woman was shot and killed in North Rapid Wednesday night.
Police have not released any details other than the woman was shot around 6:45 p.m., near the intersection of East North and Pine streets. She reportedly was in critical condition and taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Her name is being withheld pending notification of her family.
In a social media post, the Rapid City Police Department asks that anyone with any information about the incident contact them at 605-394-4131. An anonymous tip can also be submitted by texting the letters ‘RCPD’ and the information to 847411.
