The Kansas City Chiefs are putting the finishing touches on preparations for the 2024 NFL Draft.The team has a total of seven draft picks this year, but that, of course, could change in the coming days or even as the draft gets underway.While the Chiefs are the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, they still have needs. Their best chances of meeting those needs will come in the first round on Thursday night at pick No. 32. While there’s always a chance General Manager Brett Veach trades up or trades out of the first round, most projections have Kansas City staying put and taking a player. Betting odds currently have the Chiefs selecting, in descending order of likelihood, a wide receiver, offensive lineman or cornerback in round one.
