Unsolved mystery: Neal King never returned from business meeting in Oroville | News [Video]

OROVILLE, Calif. – The disappearance of a man in Oroville remains a mystery after 11 years.

Neal King, 25, was last seen in the 4000 block of Hilldale Ave. in Oroville on March 26, 2013. King had moved to Butte County from Texas to purchase land to grow marijuana.

Investigators said King had a dispute over the business with Donald Cheatham and went to a meeting with him, but never returned.

Investigators considered Cheatham a person of interest in King’s case because he was the last person with information about the last hours before his disappearance. In November 2019, Cheatham and another man were shot to death in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
