The Summit Senior Living Community has announced new developments aimed at enriching the lives of its residents and catering to the evolving needs of senior citizens in Central Virginia.
Brenda Dixon, marketing director at The Summit, said plans have been created to provide a holistic living experience for seniors. The focal point of the expansion revolves around the concept of creating vibrant, interconnected spaces that blend indoor and outdoor living.
The first phase of the expansion will introduce 18 cottages, forming a pocket neighborhood within The Summit’s grounds located at 1400 Enterprise Drive. Each cottage will feature private patios and enclosed garden areas, which Dixon said will provide for a sense of community and tranquility. The cottages will have folding glass doors, inviting natural light to flood the living spaces and providing residents with the option to connect with the outdoors.
