‘Spring Break Giveaway’ to be held by Urban Promise 901 on Saturday [Video]

A 26-foot truck filled with food and hygiene products is reportedly set to be unloaded at The Word Church on Saturday, March 2.

Urban Promise 901 — an organization that offers career-driven mentoring for students in the Memphis area — said they were given a helping hand by the Memphis Tigers Football team for this giveaway.

“UP901” (Urban Promise 901) founder — Pastor Aaron Litzsey — said this “Spring Break Giveaway” will last from noon until 2 p.m.

The first 500 families will be “blessed with a plethora of products to support them.” The event aims to promote a “safe and healthy spring,” according to the organization.
