BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – AT&T provided a potential solution to customers who may have issues using their cellular devices on Thursday morning after reports of outages nationwide.
In a statement to WAFB, AT&T said:

Customers of cellular services nationwide, including AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, have reported to Downdetector and social media that their phone service is down.
AT&T had more than 60,000 outages this morning, in locations including Houston, Atlanta and Chicago, the Associated Press reported.
Cricket Wireless and Boost Mobile also reported outages.
The West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office responded on social media to the outage, saying, “It has come to our attention that AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile phones are currently experiencing issues and are unable to make or receive phone calls, including emergency 911 calls.
