Sioux City add recycling drop off locations in downtown [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) -Sioux City is expanding recycling locations where you can make a drop-off. To help promote recycling eight containers have been placed downtown that you can put in plastic, aluminum and cardboard.

This was a partnership of several organizations and they are happy to help make the community cleaner.

“This is our effort to be cleaner and greener as a community. We want to encourage people to take advantage of this and what better way to encourage recycling than branding these with some beautiful local artwork from Jessica Hammond of Brutal Doodles we’re just really excited this took a real team effort.” Said Alex Watters, Sioux City Council Member

In the next few years they are hoping to put out over 200 recycling centers.
