Riverfront gets another huge boost from KC Current, how businesses in the area are reacting [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – First a stadium and now an entertainment district for a woman’s professional team. The KC Current announced they will be investing more money into the Berkley Riverfront.

The team unveiled renderings, Monday, of a multi-use district with housing, restaurants, and retail near the newly built CPKC stadium.

“I mean, I think it’s amazing,” said Arthur Laduc, the owner of Kansas City Taco Company.

“The development that they have going on down here as painstaking as it is, with the parking, with the construction, and a lot of people don’t get it, but we do, it’s part of the process,” said Laduc.

Laduc believes a district along the Riverfront would not only be a great investment, but will also give them exposure.
