Together, they orchestrated the growth of events like Beer Vibes and Hot Shots, seeing a staggering increase in patronage by 500 percent. However, it wasn’t until they recognized the growing demand for immersive brand experiences that Main Event was born.

The modest beginnings of Main Event were marked by humble headquarters at 18 Annette Crescent, encompassing a mere 2500 square feet and manned by a team of six. Despite its size, the company wasted no time in diversifying its portfolio, branching out into event production, custom corporate branding solutions, and even venturing into film production. Their influence quickly made waves, with notable projects such as the ICC World Cup Venue Selection Ceremony, the innovative “DIGIRIG” music truck, and the poignant documentary, Jamaica Hope.

As Main Event gained traction in its inaugural year, it became evident that expanding client services was imperative for sustained growth. This led to the addition of dedicated client services and digital signage departments, doubling the workforce to 16 employees. The company’s reputation for excellence continued to soar, marked by successful product launches, movie premieres, and sponsorship initiatives, including backing the Reggae Boyz on their Road to Germany 2000.

However, Main Event’s trajectory took a historic turn in 2017 when it became the first event agency in the region to list on the Jamaica Stock Exchange. The response was overwhelming, with shares selling out in record time, cementing Main Event’s status as a market leader. Yet, this milestone was only the beginning of Main Event’s ambitions.

With a steadfast commitment to growth and innovation, Main Event has since embarked on a journey from “good to great.” Central to this mission is a renewed focus on its people, evidenced by innovative approaches to training, engagement, and business development. Today, Main Event operates from its headquarters on Ardenne Road in Kingston, with additional offices in Barbican, Newport West, and Montego Bay.
