Queensland firefighter killed after battling warehouse blaze remembered a year after death [Video]

A firefighter who was killed after battling a warehouse blaze in Queensland has been remembered as a “leader, mentor and problem solver” a year on from her death.

Today, the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services paid tribute to the 46-year-old.

Izabella Nash died on May 2 last year after she and her crew tried to take control of a fire at a Slacks Creek factory. (9News)

“Firefighter First Class Izabella Nash left an indelible mark on not only her crew mates, but the entire Fire and Rescue Service family,” it posted on social media.
