Port A to see economic boost as Spring Break 2024 nears [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — While spring break is only short two weeks, students, families and visitors from all around the state prepare to make their way to Port Aransas.

This is the start of tourism season for the beach town where restaurants, shops and rental homes all see an increase in business.

Occupancy for the town is boosted up to around 70 percent from March 11 through March 19.

This as Port Aransas continues to grow as a city to help accommodate the influx of tourists.
