Nvidia Earnings: Revenue jumps 265% as data center biz grows 5x, stock surges on strong guidance [Video]

Nvidia defied all skepticism, uncertainties over sustaining growth in its fourth quarter results by delivering a performance well ahead of expectations. Shares soared as much as 11% in extended trading after CEO Jensen Huang told analysts in a post-earnings call that “conditions are excellent for growth in 2025 and beyond.”

The world’s largest semiconductor company by value delivered 265% revenue growth in its fourth quarter to $22.1 billion, well ahead of estimates of $20.62 billion. Its earnings per share also rose to $5.16, surpassing the $4.64 estimate.

Growth was led by strong demand for AI chips for servers, particularly the more powerful “Hopper” chips like the H100.

“Strong demand was driven by enterprise software and consumer internet applications, and multiple industry verticals including automotive, financial services and health care,” the company said in a post earnings statement.
