New Eisenhower Lock Visitor Center Opens May 14; Network to Host Event June 22 Seaway Ship Watchers Network [Video]

Massena, New York (April 15, 2024) – The Great Lakes-Seaway Development Corporation, the US operator of two (2) St. Lawrence Seaway locks in Massena, NY, announced today the grand opening of the all-new Eisenhower Lock Visitor Center located at 76 Barnhart Road. This brand new $7+ million federally operated facility, which features more than 38 interactive exhibits, will serve as a flagship tourism and community center in the heart of the North Country of New York State, is set to open to the public for the first time on Tuesday, May 14 at 9 a.m. The new facility replaces a decades-old center that has historically attracted more than 100,000 visitors from all 50 states and more than 20 countries each year.
