Motion to reduce bond continued by Judge in case of Chiefs rally shooter [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A motion to reduce a $1 million bond for one of the two suspects charged with murder in connection with the Chiefs rally shooting has been continued to May by the presiding judge.

Jackson County, Missouri, court records indicate that Lyndell Mays, 23 one of two charged in the deadly shooting that followed the Chiefs Championship Rally, appeared in front of a judge on Thursday, April 18.

Mays has been charged with second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action for the shooting that killed Lisa Lopez-Galvan and injured 22 others.

Court documents indicated that Mays’ attorney, John A. Reed, filed a motion for bond reduction. He had been ordered to remain behind bars on a $1 million bond for the Feb. 14 incident. The move has been continued to 1:30 p.m. on May 2.
