Police in Ipswich, Massachusetts, said a man was shot when a gun he was carrying accidentally discharged while at a brewery. The incident happened Friday afternoon at the True North Ale Company brewery on County Road in Ipswich. Police rushed to the brewery just after 5:15 p.m. on Friday when they received a report of a gunshot being fired.The first officers that arrived said a man in the brewery’s dining area was shot when a gun he was carrying accidentally discharged. Police said the man was taken to an area hospital for treatment. A juvenile who was also in the dining area was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution since they were grazed by a piece of shrapnel.
