Long-time Casper physician retires after 42-years in practice [Video]

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – Years ago, a 14-year old, Casper resident, named Thomas Burke found himself captivated with medicine and the feeling of wanting to help others after he lost his brother in a car accident.

During his high school days, Burke went to a boarding school in Wisconsin, and heard about a brand new medical program at the University of Missouri, that was accepting students right out of high school.

Dr. Burke says, “Of all the fields in medicine, internal medicine kind of attracted me the most just really having the opportunity to sit and think about problems and listen to people and just really trying to sort out you know what might be causing the symptoms and maybe even the unspoken symptoms.”
