The fire department said the crew worked ‘tirelessly’ to rescue the kitten trapped in its social media post.
COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A cat was saved from a car engine by Cobb County firefighters, according to a social media post on Wednesday.
When firefighters arrived, they said the cat was hiding behind a headlight. It took some time, but the crew was able to get the cat out and capture them.
Once out, the chef who owned the car took home the cat, naming him Tucson after the car he was hiding in.
“Mr. Kitty was very grateful for the help,” the fire department said in part in its social media post.
