KC Current details plan for mixed-use district next to CPKC Stadium [Video]

Hot off the grand opening of the historic CPKC Stadium, the Port Authority of Kansas City and the Kansas City Current are detailing their vision for a $800 million mixed-use development along 10 acres of land adjacent to the Berkley Riverfront Park.The project will continue to unfold in multiple phases over the next decade as the team seeks to transform 200 million plus square feet of land along the Missouri Riverfront.On Monday, the KC Current, Port KC Palmer Square Capital Management and Marquee Development unveiled plans for the next phase.This next phase will add $200 million in private funding, with all stages of the development exceeding $800 million in total investment.
