Kansas City highways again seeing trash spilling from trucks [Video]

One year after a KMBC 9 News investigation into what’s causing a Dirty Kansas City, trucks hauling waste to the landfill or recycling facilities are spilling their loads just as bad, if not worse, than before.In response to KMBC 9’s latest findings, company leaders are making changes once again.The same contractors promised changes after KMBC 9’s investigation last year.KMBC 9 Investigates recently followed nine semitrailers from three transfer stations, Raptor Recycle and Transfer, Mark II Transfer station, and GFL’s location on Truman Road. The trucks, hired or owned by those companies, leave those transfer stations to go to landfills or recycling facilities.
