JK Paper Q3 Results | Net profit slides 29%, interim dividend declared [Video]

Paper and packaging board company JK Paper Ltd on Wednesday (February 7) reported a 29.1% year-on-year (YoY) drop in net profit at ₹236.4 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2023.

In the corresponding quarter last year, JK Paper posted a net profit of ₹333.5 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations increased 2.7% to ₹1,781.7 crore as against ₹1,734.5 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

At the operating level, EBITDA declined 31.9% to ₹447.6 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹657 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.

The EBITDA margin stood at 25.1% in the reporting quarter against 37.9% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.
