AN angry Walmart customer was reminded why they never liked shopping at the store in the first place.
As many Walmart stores are getting rid of self-checkout, shoppers have used social media to complain about longer lines.
One customer tore into the big box retailer on X, demanding answers for why self-checkout lanes were closing at many stores.
The user (@DrLeoMarvin5) said management’s answer involved theft concerns, but they weren’t convinced this was the entire reason.
“The prices at Walmart are skyrocketing and lines are growing,” they wrote.
“Now I’m remembering why I never went to Walmart before self-checkout became a thing.”
Walmart did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
