House passes bill to ban TikTok, social media influencers concerned [Video]

LOUISIANA, USA — The House of Representatives passed a bill to ban TikTok. It stems from concerns about TikTok’s parent company and its ties to the Chinese Government. Many TikTok influencers use the app for a living, including some people in Louisiana.

Big decisions made in Washington could hit close to home for Ralph Williams.

“It’s more than just food,” social media influencer Ralph Williams said.
