Social media influencers are just one of the channels used by the government to communicate to Singaporeans, said Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information Tan Kiat How in parliament on Wednesday (Mar 6).

Mr Tan was replying to an MP’s questions on whether the Ministry of Communications and Information has a budget for engaging social media influencers.
