UPDATE 9:54 p.m.: Black Hills Energy says technicians are continuing to monitor conditions and make repairs.
UPDATE 9:36 p.m.: The City of Bentonville said in a social media post at 9 p.m. that traffic in the area of Highway 112 and SW Gator Boulevard is being rerouted due to a gas leak.

The red X is where streets are blocked and blue and yellow lines are alternate routes to Bright Road to get back in route to Highway 112.
The city says hazmat crews are monitoring the leak and no evacuation has been ordered at this time.
UPDATE 9:12 p.m.: Police told KNWA/FOX24 that Black Hills Energy says they’ll be here for 5-6 more hours.
Police said they are not evacuating anyone and said that would be the fire department’s job. If anything changes, police say they will let residents know.
