Today we take one of most iconic aircraft and aviation and turn it into a kit that you can build. The twin otter has been around for many years and has served and transporting cargo, people, and other critical supplies to all parts of the world. it is also known by many in the model aviation world to be incredibly capable, gentle aircraft. Dave Jester has taken on the task to design the Flite Test twin otter. This one.5 m aircraft will build quickly and be able to go from a gentle trainer to an over-the-top aerobatic machine. In this video, we take you through the design and engineering process that we do for all of our kits that we create and manufacture right here in the United States. This involves the first flight, accessory design and testing, stress testing to failure, and finally, the final product! We want everyone to have an amazing experience, both building and flying model aircraft. We put a lot of heart and soul and every design to make sure it’s the best experience possible whether it’s on the build table or in the sky.
