First Pittsburgh-area Bass Pro Shop coming to Newbury Market [Video]

Bass Pro Shops is opening its first Pittsburgh-area location.

The outdoor store has announced its newest location will be opening in South Fayette Township.

The 100,000 square-foot two level “Outdoor World” will be located Newbury Market, right off the Interstate 79 Bridgeville exit.

“We are extremely excited to have such a great and unique retail brand join our Newbury Market development. This one-of-a-kind super retailer will differentiate our project from all others, and will catalyze other one-of-a-kind new to market concepts to join us. We are absolutely thrilled,” said Craig Cozza, of Cozza Enterprises, the developer of Newbury Market.

In addition to hunting and fishing gear, Outdoor World will offer the equipment, clothing and other hiking, backpacking and camping items its known for.

The store is expected to open in early 2026.

Currently, the closest Bass Pro Shop for Pittsburghers is in Morgantown, West Virginia.
