Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has revealed Alejandro Garnacho has apologised for his recent misbehaviour.

The United star recently got himself in Ten Hag’s bad books after he ‘liked’ several posts criticising his manager on social media site X, including from talkSPORT’s Mark Goldbridge, after subbing him off against Bournemouth.

The Dutch coach has since come out and said that the matter has been dealt with, after United branded the incident an ‘internal’ one.

“Alejandro is a young player and has to learn a lot,” Ten Hag told a news conference on Friday. “He apologised for it and after that, we move on.”

Garnacho was hooked at half-time against Bournemouth in a match that ended 2-2 last week and the 19-year-old showed his disdain by liking several posts on X criticising Ten Hag.
