Jake Paul has reposted one of his interactions with Mike Tyson, four years prior to their recent fight announcement.

The YouTube star and heavyweight icon confirmed that they will touch gloves in a huge showdown on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

Paul first burst on to the boxing scene in the influencer space, but he has now managed to secure a mega shot at the former undisputed champion, who is now aged 57.

His career began against fellow social media stars, but his first highlight-reel KO came on the undercard of Tyson’s exhibition contest with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.

The ‘Problem Child’ took on Nate Robinson, which Tyson announced on his social media as the feature bout to his own surprise return.

Paul reposted the video at the time, with the caption: “MIKE TYSON SAID MY NAME!”
