City files to stop reinstatement of Kansas City firefighter [Video]

The future of a Kansas City, Missouri, firefighter is now in the hands of a judge. The city of Kansas City, Missouri, is filing a motion to stop the reinstatement of a firefighter who caused a deadly crash in Westport in December 2021.The city says in the motion that the firefighter’s union arbitrator had exceeded their powers to put Dominic Biscari back on the job and give him back pay.Biscari pleaded guilty to his part in the crash that killed three people. He served three years probation as part of his plea agreement.Driving a fire truck north on Broadway, Biscari reportedly traveled 51 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone with full throttle lights and sirens through a red light at Westport Road.It caused a collision with a Honda CRV, leading to the deaths of Jennifer San Nicholas and Michael J.
