MEDFORD, Ore. – Bear Creek Golf Center has seen a dramatic increase in business this winter after an overhaul to their driving range last fall.
“It’s night and day,” said Ashley Cates, director of marketing for The Coquille Tribe Medford Hospitality Portfolio, which oversees the golf center. “It’s not having anyone on the course because of rain and weather to having the bays full with the heaters above everyone with a covered space, seven days a week.”
With the renovations came nine TopTracer golf bays, which use the same technology that’s on the PGA tour to track players’ shot speed, spin and distance. At Bear Creek, each driving range has the tech and a cover to keep players out of the elements.
