BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) – At it’s latest meeting Tuesday night, the Bellevue City Council unanimously approved the bonds to build a large indoor/outdoor water park.
The council also unanimously approved a contract with American Resort Management for design and construction services on what’s expected to be a $60 million project.
In a social media post touting the council votes, the city shared photos of what the water park is expected to look like.
The park is expected to include a year-round pool and connected hotels.
City officials have been gauging community interest in a water park since 2022.
According to a post on the city’s Facebook page, more details on the project were expected to be released Wednesday.
