BBC Dragons’ Den viewers issue the same complaint about ‘boring’ bean pitch | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV [Video]

Dragons’ Den welcomed an entrepreneur pitching a flavoured bean business to the latest instalment (March 21) of the BBC One show, however, her pitch fell a bit flat with viewers. Before entering the den, Londoner Amelia Christie-Miller said she was “here to show you that the food you have so long neglected can be exceptionally delicious.”

Amelia is the founder of Bold Beans and was keen for the Dragons to sample her wares. Although she admitted she loved Deborah Meaden, and said that she stood for a lot of the same values of the company, she said she would “take any of them” as an investor.

However, viewers weren’t that impressed by her offering pointing out on X, formerly known as Twitter, that there is a company that already makes flavoured beans they love. @Givemeabiscuit sighed: “Umm Heinz #DragonsDen.”
