Charlie Ross dubbed the latest instalment of Bargain Hunt tense after the two teams battled it out “down to the wire”. Viewers took to social media branding the blue team “lucky” after they scraped the winning title.
The BBC host, 73, headed down to Wales where he was met with Neil and Jess who represented the red team. The father and daughter duo got off to a great start as they whizzed around the shop floor.
With help from expert Richard Madeley, they picked up a red floral vase (£32), a Pembrokeshire stool (£40) as well a mystery Chinese box that they splashed out a whopping £140.
They appeared to fly at the start of the auction after making a £13 profit and then £20 thanks to the miniature Welsh stool. However, it all went downhill when it came to their final item.
They lost out on £57 after failing to break even which took them into a huge deficit. …
