Essence Presents Production is a content marketing, production and strategy business owned & operated by me, Liz Manuell! I help wellness businesses, creatives, crafters, artisans, practitioners and entrepreneurs up level there digital presence though authentic lifestyle/brand photography, short-form videography, bold content design, organic content strategy and original music production services.

The idea for Essence Presents Production was actually brought to life through the inner workings and behind the scenes processes of my other business, Brilliant Pit Seasonal Wellness; Northeast’s guide to living in harmony with the seasons through the study of cyclical nature, astrology and herbalism (I’ll link everything below if you’re interested in following my journey over there!). I realized that I had a hard time actually working on my business because I spent A LOT of time creating content for social media and my website to convey my mission. Since it was more conceptual at the time, creating content to cultivate a community around the idea felt like the one feasible action I could take everyday (plus, I was really good at it from going to school for media production)

In comes the beginnings of Essence Presents! Photography had been a hobby of mine since 2009, and videography since the earlier half of the 2000’s- yes, my adolescent years. Since owning my first-ever video camera at age 10, I’ve been fascinated by the creation of a quality visual and audible experience, to the point that by the time I applied to colleges, all I wanted to be was an Audio Engineer- so I applied to a program and didn’t get in. I ended up getting by BA in Entertainment Management and then onto Mass Communications: Media Production.

Becoming an audio visual technician, to then account coordinator for an experiential marketing agency, to now being a social media manager, the experience I’ve gained is invaluable for those looking to optimize their digital platforms. This journey allowed me to develop an extremely organized workflow in all creative endeavors I took on, and I am so grateful for the experiences that led me to where I am today where I now provide knowledge & help to others in finding success in marketing themselves, their business and their passions.
