Fashion Week San Antonio

Launched in 2009 and modeled after similar happenings in New York, LA and beyond, Fashion Week San Antonio is dedicated to cultivating and broadening the local design community while showcasing “the Alamo City’s brightest and most talented designers and brand houses.” Formerly Museo Alameda, A&M’s Educational & Cultural Arts Center (101 S Santa Rosa) plays host to a number of FWSA’s most anticipated events—including Monday’s Project Runway-inspired Avant Garde Going Green Gowns Exhibition (7pm) and Tuesday’s Current Collections, a fashion-forward face-off between emerging local designers Karen Gallardo, Josue Pacheco, Valerie Perez and Blanquita Sullivan (7pm), followed by a free after-party at Blue Box (312 Pearl Pkwy).
