Year in review: Belpres mayor reflects on 2024 and looks to 2025 [Video]

BELPRE, Ohio (WTAP) – Belpre Mayor Susan Abdella shared the town has seen growth and prosperity throughout the year.

One of the events Mayor Abdella mentioned was the ground breaking for the new hospital that will be built. The town welcomed more businesses and new council members.

Mayor Abdella said she wants to continue the trend of prosperity in town.

When asked about what to expect in 2025, Mayor Abdella shared she wants to improve infrastructure for residents on the outside of town. She said she plans on connecting them to the water supply so they are connected to the municipal water and sewer.
