Work starts on new East Dubuque dispensary, Bridge City Collective targets 2025 opening [Video]

EAST DUBUQUE, Illinois (KCRG) – A new dispensary is coming to East Dubuque.

Crews started work at 122 Sinsinawa Avenue Thursday, breaking ground on the new Bridge City Collective dispensary. The cannabis store chain, based out of Portland, Oregon, is invested in adding to the “growth and vibrancy of the downtown area.”

“Our goal is to not only provide the best cannabis products and services,” said David Alport, President of Bridge City Collective. “But also to create a community hub where people can come together, relax, and enjoy a safe and welcoming environment.”

When the new shop is complete in early 2025, the dispensary will fill a building left vacant for more than a decade.

“We haven’t had a new building constructed on Sinsinawa Avenue in about 15 years, so now we’re going to have this one which is going to be a couple million-dollar investment,” explained East Dubuque City …
