Whitaker Family YMCA hosts Family Fun Day sponsored by David and Marci Kloiber in Lexington KY [Video]

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington families got the chance to have a little fun in the sun on Saturday at the Whitaker Family YMCA Family Fun Day.

The free event allowed families to kick off the summer together as a community.

Family Fun Day was sponsored by a local family, David and Marci Kloiber.

This year’s festivities at the Kloiber Pavillion had a Hawaiian theme and included food trucks, field games, inflatables, slides, and a chance to cool off in a water play area.

“We’re stronger together, which is, you know, what the ‘Y’ says,” Marci Kloiber said at the event.

“That’s one of the reasons that they’ve been a really amazing partner. and they’re just into community building and bringing everybody together. And I love that this event, you don’t have to be a member of the ‘Y’ and you can come and see what the ‘Y’ can offer and then …
