Web Travel Group surges on TTV growth, Pinnacle declines with SPP news [Video]

The ASX rebounded today, increasing by 0.57% to close at 8,406.7 points. Over the past five days, the index has risen 0.97% and remains 0.65% below its 52-week high.

Top performer Web Travel Group saw a 13.48% rise to $4.80 per share following the release of financial results.

The company reported a 25% increase in WebBeds TTV to $2.6 billion and forecast $5 billion TTV for FY25. Revenue increased by 1% year-on-year and underlying group EBITDA reached $70 million.

Pinnacle Investment Management Group fell 5.08% to $23.16 per share after announcing a $25 million SPP to fund investments in VSS and PAM, with shares priced at $20.30.

All 11 ASX sectors posted gains, with Consumer Discretionary (+1.03%) and Communication Services (+0.87%) leading.

Among small caps, Orthocell Ltd (ASX:OCC, OTC:ORHHF) was a significant mover, rising as much as 27.56% to a daily high of $0.81 while European Lithium Ltd (ASX:EUR, OTCQB:EULIF)increased by 19.24% …
