All eleven ducklings were safely reunited with their mother, according to firefighters.
INDIANAPOLIS — A family of ducklings was safely rescued from a storm drain by firefighters Saturday afternoon.
A passerby reportedly told firefighters they’d found the ducklings and called 911.
Firefighters removed a heavy steel drain cover to access the ducklings. Air monitoring was conducted to ensure the safety of everyone involved, including the ducklings.
The mother duck reportedly watched as firefighters rescued her children.
WTFD says it is happy to report that all eleven ducklings were safely reunited with their mother.
