WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – Many public school districts in central Wisconsin are just days away from the first day of classes for the new school year. And while ‘bullying’ has become a term infamously linked with the school year, finding practical advice on how to deal with it, is hard to find.
There is no question that victims of long-term bullying suffer from negative mental health outcomes. The American Psychological Association reports these effects include anxiety, low self-esteem, and depression. And those findings also show bullies themselves tend to feel the same way.
So what can parents do?
