Universal Drops Wicked Official Trailer [Video]

After two decades as one of the most popular and longest-running musicals on the stage, Wicked finally hits the big screen this holiday season. If we were from Boston, we’d say this was a “wicked” Wicked trailer! There… I said it!

And Universal Pictures has just shared the first official trailer from Jon M. Chu’s upcoming musical fantasy adventure, based on the bestselling novel by Gregory Maguire and the hugely successful stage musical, which hits theaters November 27.

Wicked, which tells the untold story of the witches of Oz, stars Emmy, Grammy, and Tony winner Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Color Purple) as Elphaba, and Grammy-winning recording artist Ariana Grande as Glinda.
