TYLER, Texas (KETK) – A longtime Tyler based company offering a variety of home and lawn care services suddenly shut its doors last week. Now, the owners of a local excavation company say they intend to take over.

The sudden closure of Salcido Home Solutions caught some Nextdoor users off guard, who were posting about it on the social media platform. This change also left many employees without a job.

On August 26th, the owner, Marvin Salcido, sent out an email to customers, filled with what he called the hardest words he’s ever written.

The email said in part, “We can no longer sustain operations under the heavy weight of the debt that we incurred”.
